I really want to watch the second season of Game of Thrones damn it.
I found this tagged as “Game of Thrones” and “HBO.”

Many classic horror icons and other disturbing creatures share common characteristics. Pale skin, dark, sunken eyes, elongated faces, sharp teeth, and the like. These images inspire horror and revulsion in many, and with good reason. The characteristics shared by these faces are imprinted in the human mind.
Many things frighten humans instinctively. The fear is natural, and does not need to be reinforced in order to terrify. The fears are species-wide, stemming from dark times in the past when lightning could mean the burning of your tree home, predators could be hiding in the dark, heights could make poor footing lethal, and a spider or snake bite could mean certain death.
The question you have to ask yourself is this:
What happened, deep in the hidden eras before history began, that could effect the entire human race so evenly as to give the entire species a deep, instinctual, and lasting fear of pale beings with dark, sunken eyes, razor sharp teeth, and elongated faces?
… Just be careful out there.
Sunken eyes/pale= potentially sick, potentially contagious
Razor sharp teeth= uhh can fucking eat your fucking face can that be any more self explanatory
Elongated faces= are not something that you are repulsed by instinctively and thats dumb
dumb post aside, is that Yolondi? that looks just like yolondiIt’s not like we’re conditioned for that. Or anything similar to that, for that matter. All of these things are unnatural in humans, so if someone saw anything resembling that in a humanoid, they would be scared due to it looking alien in nature. When have you even seen any of these characteristics and thought: “oh, that’s a completely reasonable and natural thing to see”? Exactly. If you saw something thirty feet tall with red skin that shot lasers out of its eyes, you’d be scared.
Nope. Don’t care. Fuck your logic. It’s scary and awesome.

I reblog this picture every day.
Every time I see this I just picture “No one cares about your white problems.”
and
it’s
amazing
wow what a prime example of belittling someones struggles because of their race!
Yes, it is a lot harder to be black than it is to be white!
no, this does not mean every time a white person says they’ve gone through a hard time you have to say “NO YOU HAVEN’T BECAUSE YOU’RE WHITE I DON’T CARE”
Hey, travis, I don’t know if someone forgot to tell you or you just don’t own any mirrors, but you are, in fact, white! SU RPRSE!!
