Reason to Be
Essentially, the idea of a “slut” is a myth told to women to keep them in their place. Just as Santa will not actually bring you coal on Christmas if you break a few of the house rules, you will not actually turn into an intrinsically tainted, unpalatable creature if you break one of society’s rules and have sex with one too many men. The word “slut” isn’t a criticism for having too much sex necessarily, but for being a woman: a real, living, breathing woman with quirks, foibles, normal sexual feelings, and personality; and failing to live up to the societal ideal for a woman: the passive, pliable, perpetually innocent, and sexually available Barbie doll.

I think slut is a wonderful and very useful word that should apply to men and women. It should be the SPICY as opposed to prudes MILD and no-remarks-given-about-sexuality’s NORMAL. It’s a wonderful word, it just needs to have all negative connotation stripped away from it.

But that won’t happen anytime soon as sex is a nasty, dirty thing that only amoral people give in to and even good and righteous people do sometimes but if they do they must hate themselves for being ugly disgusting fornicators.

[On a side-note: my favorite villains are ones like Frolo from HUNCHBACK. Villains who give in and love their sexuality but have such torment and guilt they want to kill, torture or maim the subject of their arousal.]
